Lately, President Kim Kyung-Goo of GD Biotech Inc was selected as the face to grace the country. Proved the effect of ‘egg yolk’s lecithin’, acquired 6 international patents

레시틴 추출기술, 중국에 이어 인도시장도 공략 예정

레시틴은, 1850년 프랑스 토리스 고블리가 달걀의 노른자에서 처음 발견한 이래, 다양한 원료로 공급되는 천연 유화제로 사용되고 있다. 즉 난황에 있는 인지질로 화학명 포스파티딜 콜린(일명, PC)로 불리기도 하며, 인간의 두뇌에도 이러한 성분이 30%가량 존재한다고 한다. 즉, 신경전달물질인 아세틸콜린의 전구물질에서 이 PC는 꼭 필요한 성분으로, 학습능력, 집중력, 지구력, 수면부족, 우울증, 신경불안 등에 효과를 발휘한다.

난황레스틴은 제조 과정이 복잡할 뿐만 아니라 가격도 비싸, 일반식품에는 적용이 어렵고 의약품이나 고급 화장품, 유아 분유 등에 사용이 되고 있는 물질로 알려져 있다. 이러한 레스틴 제품의 대중화에 나선 김경구 회장은 “난황 레스틴 제품은, 식품의약품안전청에서 정하는 건강기능식품법에 따라 ‘고시형 건강기능식품’중의 하나로, 그 핵심성분이 되는 인지질을 기능성분으로 하는 건강기능식품을 말한다”고 밝혔다.

또한, 식품의약품안전청에서는 혈행개선에 도움을 주며, 콜레스테롤 개선과 두뇌영양공급, 항산화작용에 도움을 주는 식품으로 인정하고 있다며 “난황레스틴을 주원료로 60%이상 포함되도록 한 것이 레시틴제품”이라 설명했다.

김 회장은 “21세기의 화두는 웰빙시대로 건강을 중요시하는 세대”라고 강조하며, “고순도의 인지질 추출기법 및 초임계 추출기술을 핵심기반으로 레시틴제조 및 기능성 천연물 추출에서 세계적 전문기업을 향해 나아가고 있다”고 밝혔다. 또한 이미 중국에 수출하고 있는 기반을 토대로, 2013년에는 긍정적 평가가 있는 인도시장 공략에도 적극적으로 나설 예정이라 소개했다.

Technique of lecithin extraction, attack India soon after China

Lecithin was discovered in egg yolk by Theodore Nicolas Gobley from France, in 1850, and since then, it has been used as natural emulsion. In other words, this is phosphate in egg yolk and called PC. This exists 30% in brain as well. At acetylcholine precursors as a transmitter, PC is the essential material and it affects learning ability, concentration, sleep deficit, stamina, depression, and neurotic anxiety. As for egg lecithin, the manufacture is very complicated and expensive so it is difficult to be applied to general foods, so this has been used in premium cosmetics and infant powdered formula.

President Kim is trying to make it popular now. "Egg lecithin product is one of noticeable healthy foods by Health Functional Food Act;this is the food that the core material is phosphate. Also, Korea Food & Drug Administration accepted this as a food that helps blood circulation, improvement of cholesterol, supplying nutrients to brain and anti-function etc. Lecithin products contains of over 60% of egg yolk." He talked about the topic of the 21stcentury is the well-being life, which cares about the health and he also mentioned that his company is growing up to the world market with lecithin manufacturing based on phosphate extraction and natural functional extraction. Besides, he introduced he is aggressively going to India in 2013 with the previous result from China.
